Growing up around first responders and a volunteer fire department, safety and security has always been in the mindset of Ronnie. As a teenager and growing up outside of New Orleans, electronics became a fascination and a major interest while taking some basic electronic classes in high school. He was amazed how one thing could operate another through relays, electronic switches and component boards. Following high school, Ronnie decided to study Electronic Engineering Technology at Delgado and knew exactly what path he wanted to travel.

It didn’t take long for safety and security to come together as a clear vision and purpose of how he would utilize his early skills. At age 18, Ronnie co-owned a mobile auto alarm business and installed car alarms for some of the auto dealerships around the New Orleans area. It was an introduction to security and for a smile on a customer’s face because of them feeling safer, it proved to be the driving force that he could provide a service that would give someone a sense of security and safeness.

A short time after and for many years, Ronnie worked as an alarm technician for some of the local companies from New Orleans to Baton Rouge and soon called Ascension Parish and Prairieville home in 1993. His constant want to excel from one level to another was something that he always had in his vision. Learning, hard work, dedication, and the desire to always be better at whatever he was doing was instilled in him as a young man.

After many years in the security industry, he began traveling throughout Louisiana and around the country installing sophisticated and advanced systems for the U.S. Military, Federal Courthouses, U.S. Federal Judges, U.S. Marshals, U.S. Senators, Governors offices, National Banking Institutions and many fortune 500 companies.

Working as a lead technician and overseeing many large high profile projects, Ronnie once again looked for growth and turned his focus to management. He soon accepted and managed a large team that consisted of commercial and residential installers, service technicians, material handlers, coordinators and an administration staff for 75 percent of the state of Louisiana working for at the time, the largest security company in the United States.

In 2003, Ronnie went into business for himself and created DSC. For nearly 20 years, he and his team have continued to install and service many companies that you shop, dine, and do business with on a daily basis.

Family, safety, and security have always been the goal and purpose for growth.  With his continued “hands on approach“ and involvement with every level of the business, he continues for excellence and now strives to bring that level of experience, knowledge and trust to the new DSC Security Solutions expansion of its local residential and small business division.
